Position: English Teacher (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the school curriculum.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Prepare lesson plans, examinations, and learning materials.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Being a Rwandan or Ugandan.
- Have an Advanced Level certificate in Teaching Modern Languages (TML), Social and Religious Studies (SRE), Early Childhood and Lower Primary Education (ECLPE).
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in a reputable private school.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction is an added advantage.
