Nantong Vocational University (NTVU), in partnership with Welwitschia University (WU), invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for scholarship opportunities to pursue three-year programmes in China.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a non-Chinese citizen, aged between 18–23 years;
• Hold a valid passport;
• Have obtained at least 20 points with an E symbol in English at NSSCO/NSSCAS.
• For programmes offered in Chinese, candidates must have obtained HSK 3.
• Be physically fit;
• Have no criminal record.

Enrolment Information

• Shortlisted candidates will undergo an online screening interview.
• Feedback on admission will be provided via email; hence, candidates are required to have active email addresses.
• Successful candidates are required to provide:
  • A medical examination report from a public hospital; and
  • A valid passport.

Expenses by Successful Candidates

• Accommodation fee: 1,500 RMB per year
• Apartment supplies purchase fee: approximately 500 RMB
• Minimum cost of living in Nantong: 1,000–1,500 RMB per month
• Medical check upon arrival in China: 473 RMB
• Insurance: 500 RMB
• Residence permit: 400 RMB
• Air ticket
• Visa application fee: N$900.00
• Successful candidates will be expected to provide a 3-month bank statement from the person responsible for financial support.
