Job Summary

Successful candidates will be responsible for managing both cash and non-cash customer transactions — including payments and deposits — in line with Equity Bank’s established policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cash transactions, including accepting cash and cheques for deposit
  • Verify deposit slip accuracy and process cash withdrawals precisely
  • Record all transactions promptly and in compliance with bank procedures
  • Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
  • Handle customer inquiries on account balances, statements, cheque books, and digital banking products
  • Generate reports on newly opened accounts
  • Process incoming and outgoing remittances accurately and on time
  • Uphold internal controls to prevent fraud, loss, and forgery
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager
